Can&#8217;t live without your terminal? If you answered yes to both, then Wiki-TUI is for you. This TUI (Text User Interface) client, written in Rust, allows you to search and browse Wikipedia directly from your terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Features of the WIKI-TUI include (I quote what the tool&#8217;s website says.):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-6c824a34-12c3-40c7-8b6f-3dd21ad38869\">\n<li>Rich search results (result previews, more information on results, continue the current search)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open articles in layers (press&nbsp;<kbd>Esc<\/kbd>&nbsp;to close a layer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Table of Contents with support for jumping to the section in the article<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rich article view (functioning links, lists, headers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switch the language of an article<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"663\" src=\"https:\/\/extendsclass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/wiki-tui-preview-1024x663.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-928\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>VIM-like Keybindings: Be careful, anti-VIM folks\u2014you might find yourself stuck forever\u2026 ^^<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This tool is quite minimalist, which is quite handy and fast. If, like me, you&#8217;re tired of Chrome launching 50 processes and slowing down your PC, then WIKI-TUI might help save some resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wiki-TUI is still under active development.
